Tyler Cowen @ Marginal Revolution asks “Are we moving away from tipping?”
I feel this is wrong. I use to work at a poshy Indian restaurant in Sydney, and they charged service tax..which i never got to see in my entire 1 year of working there.
Also the Kitchen staff should not the get a share in the tip untill and unless asked/requested by the customer. They usually get higher pay as compared to waiters.
