Bush Visits India

President Bush will start a two day state visit to India. He is the fifth US president to do so, and the visit comes at a very important political juncture for both countries. At home Bush is battling protests over everything he does. More importantly in context of this visit is the nuclear technology deal that is at stake. For India, this nuclear deal is more than just a transfer of technology. Its a chance for it to test the US on “walking the walk, after talking the talk”.

Over the next week or so I will post articles that appear in the media, mostly US and International about the visit, its implications and effects.

So stay tuned. And if you come across any interesting articles, please leave me a link in the comments.
