A very interesting partnership…
Hoping to increase store traffic from vehicle-less Bostoners, Ikea is teaming with car share company Zipcar. Ikea’s Stoughton store is about 20 miles from Boston, so the company is making six Zipcars available downtown so that shoppers won’t have to ride the bus to the store.
Ikea is also giving preferential parking and discounts to customers who rent the Ikea-branded cars for $6 per hour. And the best thing is, if the car breaks down, you can fix it with just an Allen wrench! [link]
