This is not surprising. However I think this is one of the instances where the deaths are not due to the lack of driver skills. Its the lack of planned infrastructure….and a crazy sense of entitlement that society has all around. If only drivers respected pedestrians and pedestrians likewise…we would have lesser fatalities. The correct phrase I guess is the pedestrian and the driver should stay on their respective stretches of the street….and all will be good.    Â
