MORE LONDON BLASTS

072105.7.jpg A new round of explosions struck London’s public transit system at midday today, prompting authorities to suspend Underground service on the Bakerloo, Piccadily, Hammersmith & City, Victoria, and Northern lines until further notice. From early reports, it appears the explosions were much smaller and less powerful than the previous bombings — apparently along the lines of detonators or fireworks. No deaths, and only a single injury reported so far. No official word as of this writing, but several outlets are reporting arrests and descriptions of suspects.
