Finally the greatest cities of both the countries are united with a single non stop, butt aching flight.
Delta Airlines commences the first non stop service between JFK Int’l and Sahar Int’l from November 01, 2006.
The flight from NYC takes off at 9:20 pm and lands in 14.5 hours later in Bombay at 10:10 pm.
The return leg starts at 12:10 am and throws u down into NYC at 6:00 a.m, so you can go straight to work….ofcourse NOT !!
For long I have waited for this flight and now its here finally. Hope more airlines follow suit.
If you want to travel on the inaugural flight, you can get a ticket today for 1200 US$. Not bad.
Not sure if I would want to fly on Delta to India though.
