Off to Autodesk University 2007 in Las Vegas

I will be at my very first Autodesk University, AU2007; being held this year at the Venetian Hotel, Las Vegas.

AU is an annual conference of the Autodesk Family of products. Being an architect and urban designer by profession, AutoCAD has for years been the software of choice for me. Over the years I have grown to master in and its various other manifestations. And so this year, I put a proposal to my office to let me attend this on the office tab. This would enable to me help my office in my additional role as director of CAD and IT to bring us up to speed as we transition from AutoCAD to Revit. They agreed and so it finds me on the flight to Las Vegas this coming Monday.

I am pretty excited about this event, and the fact that it is in Vegas is not bad eh.

Over the next few days expect some extensive live blogging from sessions at AU2007.

In the interim check out the official AU website, and the official AU Blog: BLAUGI

BLAUGI also states that there are 27 people attending from India.

If you are from India and reading this post, shoot me an email at awadia [at] cookplusfox [dot] com. We should do a get together.
