The worlds largest subway system, can come to a grinding halt in less than 48 hours if the issue of a salary raise cannot be resolved. Here is my take on it
“One agency that supports this strike is the Department of Health. They see this as the perfect opportunity to get the obese populace of this city to exercise. The director of Health came out in favour of MTA and said that the walking will do FAT America a lot of good. However another agency at loggerheads is the Department of Roads. They have made claims that the MTA strike will cause the foot traffic on sidewalks to multiply ten times, and will result in urgent repairs to sections of sidewalk, that havent been repaired since La Guardia sat at City Hall. “
