The ICC World Cup has started in full swing. But if you are in the US, watching it live is usually very difficult. Its a pay per view package on DISH Network. We got the package for home, but then who is sitting at home the whole day. They do have a retarded policy of watching it online, whereby you can watch it from the IP address of your home computer. Now if I am at home, why the hell would I not watch it on TV. Oh, how I wonder about the mental competence of those who make these decisions.
TVU Player, the saviour last summer during the World Cup, seems to be no help. No one is streaming cricket on it.
From a bit of research, the only way out is to set up a streaming server at home with password protection.
That is my project for tonight.
Check back here for details in the coming days.
